George H. Poleman, III is Legal Advocate and owner of Applied Benefits, Inc., a Shreveport, Louisiana based company dedicated exclusively to representing disabled clients on claims for Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. He is an expert in the field of Social Security Disability Law and well respected in the legal community that practices Social Security. He began his career over 33 years ago. Mr. Poleman is responsible for oversight and development of client’s disability claims in Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas. He ensures that all evidence in every case is obtained and legal theories are properly developed to present at hearings before Administrative Law Judges.
Over the past 33 years Mr. Poleman has represented thousands of clients at every level of the social security process including administrative hearings and the Appeals Council. Mr. Poleman is a member of the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR) and National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives (NOSSCR). In addition to having passed the exam for SSA accreditation as a non-attorney, Mr. Poleman has obtained continuing legal education (CLE) certification by regularly attending Social Security Disability Law conferences and seminars where he has been a speaker. Because of his expertise, Mr. Poleman has been a regular speaker at social service organizations and medical groups throughout the Ark-La-Tex.
